• Coordinate the end-to-end Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.
• Review submitted change requests for completeness, accuracy, and business impact.
• Facilitate change review board meetings and document decisions.
• Monitor change implementation timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Track change status and provide regular updates via report.
• Evaluate engineering changes related to products, processes, materials, tooling, and documentation.
• Conduct JIT plant impact assessments covering cost, quality, inventory, production, suppliers, and customer requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and approval workflows are completed before implementation.
• Maintain revision control and configuration management records.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, logistics, and customer teams.
• Coordinate implementation activities within the JIT plant
• Support supplier change notifications and customer-driven engineering changes. (gAMS and NAEL)
• Resolve issues related to change implementation and escalation.
• Maintain accurate records in PLM, ERP, and document management systems.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate reports and metrics related to change management performance.
• Support internal and external audits related to engineering changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve change management processes and workflows.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support digital transformation initiatives related to product lifecycle management (PLM).
• Provide training and guidance on change control procedures.

What skills and knowledge should you posses

• Advanced proficiency of both written and spoken English
• 2–5+ years of experience in engineering change management, configuration management, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience managing ECR/ECO processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Which competences are an advantage

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle ERP.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical devices, electronics, or industrial manufacturing.
• Familiarity with configuration management and quality management systems.
• Excellent communication within the team
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
