We are looking for a Head of Engagement at Pilsner Urquell: The Original Beer Experience – Prague.

The Pilsner Urquell Original Beer Experience, located in the heart of Prague’s iconic Wenceslas Square, is looking for a dynamic Head of Engagement to become the face of one of Prague’s most exciting new visitor attractions.

This immersive brand home celebrates the story of the world’s first pilsner beer through cutting-edge technology, entertainment, and interactive storytelling. With Prague welcoming millions of visitors each year, our ambition is to become one of the city’s Top 5 tourist destinations within three years, attracting more than 400,000 visitors annually.

About the Role

As Head of Engagement, you will be the driving force behind the visitor experience at the front of house. You will lead initiatives that attract, engage, and convert passers-by into paying visitors through creativity, energy, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced consumer environments, enjoys direct interaction with people, and is constantly thinking of innovative ways to generate excitement and footfall.

Working closely with the General Manager, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams, you will oversee daily engagement activities, external activations, partnerships, and promotions designed to maximize visibility and visitor numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to maximize walk-in ticket sales
• Create an engaging and visually impactful entrance experience that attracts visitors
• Train operational staff in salesmanship and customer engagement techniques
• Develop partnerships with tourism and hospitality businesses including tour operators, hotels, Prague Boats, nightlife venues, shopping centres, and guides
• Build and manage external activation teams to drive traffic from hotels, bars, sports events, and key tourist locations
• Collaborate with city authorities to execute exciting street activations and public engagement initiatives
• Support the marketing team with visitor insights and customer behavior feedback
• Co-create annual event and activation calendars including Christmas, Easter, Father’s Day, sports events, national holidays, and seasonal campaigns
• Identify opportunities to increase visitor traffic throughout the year
• Manage engagement budgets and activation-related expenses
• Train teams to create emotional connections with visitors and deliver memorable guest experiences

What We Are Looking For

• A highly extroverted and confident personality with a natural talent for selling
• Minimum 5 years of experience in customer-facing or consumer engagement environments
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills
• Creative mindset with practical problem-solving abilities
• Results-driven attitude with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• High emotional intelligence and a proactive “can-do” mentality
• Fluent English and Czech language skills required
• Additional foreign languages are a strong advantage
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
