Senior Accountant

Job offer

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial accounting within a dynamic commercial and production environment.

You will be involved in end-to-end accounting processes, closing activities, and reporting, while working closely with cross-functional teams across the business.

🚀 What will be your responsibility

Accounting Operations

• Perform and oversee general accounting activities within assigned areas
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions in line with internal policies
• Maintain high quality and completeness of accounting data

Period-End Closing

• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review journal entries and accruals
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Support timely and accurate preparation of financial statements

Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Czech statutory accounting standards
• Prepare documentation for internal and external reporting
• Support audit processes and provide required schedules and explanations

Business Support

• Collaborate with Controlling, Production, and Commercial teams
• Ensure correct accounting treatment of business transactions
• Support analysis and resolution of accounting-related issues

Process & Controls

• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls
• Support standardization and optimization initiatives

✅ What we expect from you

• Previous experience in accounting (commercial and/or production environment)
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Czech statutory accounting
• Experience with closing and reporting processes
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and controls
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• English at a communicative level
