Product Manager for Transport (Payments Solutions)

We are looking for a Product Manager for Transport to drive the evolution of our market‑leading payment solutions for public transportation. Our technology powers next‑generation contactless fare payments — similar to systems used in London or Singapore — and is already deployed across Czechia, Slovakia and Romania.

This role is central to expanding our footprint to additional markets and steering our planned migration to a modern Android‑based platform leveraging the globally adopted Nucleus application.

About the Product

We provide a unique, end‑to‑end, EMV‑based payment solution for public transport operators and authorities.
Key characteristics:

• Supports open‑loop contactless payments (bank cards, mobile wallets).
• Enables tap‑in / tap‑out, capping, and fare aggregation, matching global best‑in‑class systems.
• Deployed in CZ, SK, RO, with strong growth potential across Europe and beyond.
• Planned transition to an Android hardware ecosystem with the Nucleus payment platform used worldwide.
• Part of a broader ecosystem of terminals, validators, back‑office systems, and acquiring/payment services.

Your responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for transport payment solutions.
• Lead the migration strategy to the Android + Nucleus platform.
• Translate market needs into clear product requirements (PRDs) and user stories, support expansion to new countries and transport operators.
• Prioritize the backlog and ensure alignment with stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Build business cases, pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
• Understand customer and end‑user needs in depth (transport operators, authorities, integrators), lead customer workshops, demos and technical discussions.
• Coordinate with certification, compliance, acquiring and scheme teams.
• Ensure successful rollouts, pilots and migrations.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in product management, ideally in payments, transport, fintech, or terminal solutions.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to define roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.
• Understanding of EMV, payment terminals, or transit payment systems and Technical literacy – ability to discuss architecture, APIs, certifications, Android devices.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (engineering, business, operations).
• Great communication skills in Czech and English.
