We are looking for a finance professional to join our team!
Job vacancy: Project Financial Officer
Department: Finance & Security
Reports to: Finance & Compliance Specialist
Type of employment: Full-time/Part-time

Application deadline: 7 April 2026
The Prague Civil Society Centre is a non-profit organisation that supports and empowers civil society and independent media in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Designed to operate in the harshest of conditions, we do everything we can to support those working towards more open, free, and democratic futures – no matter how far away that may seem today. We believe that a vibrant civil society and independent media are key to this. We work to ensure that activists, journalists, and changemakers of all kinds, many of whom work under the most repressive regimes, get the support they need to push for change, be it grants, capacity building, or connections.
About the role:
As a Project Financial Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and effective delivery of our projects. In close collaboration with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll be involved in planning and overseeing project finances. This role offers an opportunity not only to manage the financial aspects of our work, but also to actively contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes and systems of the organisation as a whole. We’re seeking someone who is independent, responsible, and has a strong sense of ownership.
While a full-time arrangement is preferred, we are open to considering a part-time setup for the right candidate.
