Our team of 400 professionals specializes in power trading, transforming complex data into market-leading trading strategies through advanced technology and sophisticated quantitative modelling.

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Legal & Compliance team as an In-House Legal Counsel based in our Prague office.

What you would work on?

• Managing the in-house legal agenda to address the day-to-day business needs of the foundation, including corporate matters, employment issues, and contract management.
• Drafting and negotiation of contracts related to energy assets (EPC, O&M, PPAs etc.).
• Maintaining the legal framework governing intragroup relationships.
• Liaising with authorities, public administration bodies, courts, and notaries in the context of the corporate agenda.
• Daily communication with the operations and finance teams.
• Regulatory agenda – including communication with regulatory agencies and TSOs, monitoring legal developments, and evaluating their impact on business strategies.
• Electricity market access and contracting agenda – covering contracts, market rules, power purchase negotiations, and cross-border trading rules.
• Involvement in the group's M&A activities.
• DMS (Document Management System) administration and maintenance of legal templates.
• Working with the best mathematicians in the world.  

What makes you a great candidate?

• High work commitment and an active approach to problem solving.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex tasks independently.
• University education - master's degree in law.  
• Experience in law firm and BAR exam is an advantage (but not a requirement).  
• English language – C1 level, German language is an advantage.  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
