Role reports to: Global MES Program Lead

Location: Prague, Czechia

Travel %: 25%

What will you do?

The Functional Lead – Digitized Workflow, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) will be responsible for executing the defined strategy for implementing a paper on glass MES solution globally. This role involves leading a team of functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the deployment of MES technologies, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications and comply with industry standards, particularly within GxP environments.

He/she will:

Review, own and approve the capabilities implemented in Digitized Workflow (paper-on-glass) solution
Execute the technical strategy for MES implementation, ensuring alignment with established global objectives.
Lead a team of SMEs throughout the implementation process, guaranteeing adherence to best practices and technical requirements.
Collaborate with System Integrator project managers and local site leads to address technical challenges and facilitate seamless project execution.
Collect insights and lessons learned from project implementations to enhance MES governance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Support change management initiatives in collaboration with the Global Change Management lead.
Facilitate the collection, validation, and approval of benefits associated with MES project execution, conducting benefit evaluations as directed by the global team.
 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar
Minimum of 7 years of business experience with at least 3 years of leading project in the supply chain or IT manufacturing space
Experience working with MES systems (AVEVA Model Driven MES experience is a plus) either as a user or as a consultant/system integrator
Possesses excellent communication, motivation, team building, employee involvement, diplomacy, delegating skills, as well as confidence and enthusiasm
Strategic planning and disruptive thinking. Agile and entrepreneurial mindset
Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
Ability to collaborate within and across companies, cultures, functions, and geographies to lead change and action
 

Desired Qualifications

Specific Project Management documented training (PMP certification is a plus)
Fluency in speaking Spanish and/or Portuguese
Experience working in a consumer goods or pharmaceutical supply chain environment is preferred.
Experience in global consultancy and corporate environment managing and coordinating large teams in matrix organization is preferred
