For our client, a traditional manufacturing company, we are looking for interesting candidate for the position

Financial Controller (f/m).

In this position you will support the CFO in financial operations, reporting, and decision-making, gradually building a broader understanding of the company’s finance function. The position involves work across financial operations, controlling, and business partnering. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• supervising day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards
• preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (statutory and group reporting, management reporting)
• managing the monthly closing process
• various analysis and performance tracking
• assisting the CFO with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• cash-flow planning and monitoring
• financial modelling and scenario analysis
• main point of contact for external auditors
• supporting management in pricing and investment decisions, participation in strategic projects
• process Improvement & Digitalization
• cooperation on data analytics and BI reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• ideally 2-3 years in a similar position
• advanced proficiency in MS 365+, especially Excel (complex formulas, modelling)
• experience with ERP systems
• very good knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards
• experience with reporting/BI tools (Power BI advantage)
• interest in AI and digital tools in finance welcomed
• Czech and English written and spoken communication skills
• strategic mindset
• leadership potential
• strong communication skills – ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders
