Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead operational purchasing for the Inovan division in both the Czech Republic and Germany. You will manage an international team, shape purchasing processes, negotiate with key suppliers, and oversee material groups essential for production and investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational purchasing team in the Czech Republic and Germany
• Manage key purchasing categories: Indirect materials, services, maintenance, tools and capital goods
• Analyze procurement markets and conduct tenders at national and international levels
• Negotiate prices and contract terms with suppliers until contract conclusion
• Develop sourcing plans to achieve defined savings targets
• Identify purchasing levers and implement cost‑saving measures
• Execute operational purchasing processes: orders, delivery follow‑up, dunning, invoice verification
• Maintain SAP master data and create info records
• Cooperate closely with Production, Quality, Technology, Logistics, and the global procurement team

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing within a manufacturing company (automotive advantage)
• Experience leading teams, ideally in an international environment
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to set processes and manage multiple purchasing categories
• Advanced English; German is a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel
• SAP (MM) knowledge is highly beneficial
