Hardware Design Engineer (Electronics)

Your role:
ou will be responsible for the timely and high-quality execution of assigned tasks within electronic hardware development. The role includes strong interface activities, working closely with customers, internal departments, suppliers, and software colleagues in a project-oriented environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsibility for on-time and high-quality delivery of assigned tasks
• Active interface work within the project environment
• Processing project requirements and objectives
• Participation in scheduling and content planning of your area of responsibility
• Derivation and definition of hardware design requirements
• Clarification of requirements with customers and relevant internal departments (interface requirements)
• Collection and documentation of requirements using company-defined tools
• Circuit design and creation of schematics
• New development or reuse of verified and tested circuit blocks
• Selection of electronic components
• Component calculations to ensure functional and quality requirements
• Handover of schematics to PCB design and participation in EMC-compliant component placement
• Use of company tools for schematic creation and calculations

Who are we looking for?

• Higher technical school with specialization in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field, or University of Applied Sciences / University with a focus on electronics, mechatronics, or similar
• Knowledge of electronic design and measurement technology
• Experience with hardware development in a project environment (automotive experience is an advantage)
• Structured working style and strong communication skills
