Sales Coordinator – Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity/Parental Leave

Job Purpose

• Provide sales support and act as intermediary contact for commercial department and assigned sales teams and their clients to ensure a pro-active and efficient sales support service is provided.
• Provide support to all the assigned Sales Managers/Executives e.g. handle trade enquiries, flight bookings, Upgrades, excess baggage waivers, lounge access, etc. and represent them (in their absence) at events and meetings.
• Maintain and regularly update Salesforce. Follow-up on sales leads utilizing current membership or further revenue potential. Start KYC process in sf.com.
• Respond to passenger complaints – liaise with EK Customer Affairs department in HQ.
• Direct mailshot to clients, weekly and monthly newsletters and updates on new fares, etc. so that a high standard of service is provided to the Clients in order to maximise revenue.
• Handle special offers, website, marketing activities incl. event coordination, organization, supporting advertising and any necessary translation work.
• Office management – order and maintain office stationery, assets and equipment; manage facilities and utilities, deliveries, mail, suppliers and any necessary security passes and IDs etc.
• Support Country Manager and Finance Manager with various administrative tasks and duties.

Qualification

• “Advanced” level of education.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an airline sales support role or similar commercial role.
• Good working knowledge of Leisure, Consolidator and Corporate markets
• Good knowledge of IT
• Ability to analyse data and prepare analytical reports, covering market shares and trends.
• Proficient in all MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and data and statistical presentation.
