Driver C+E / B+E Category – Assistant Cable Layer (m/f)

To support our German partner, we are looking to hire as soon as possible a C+E / B+E category driver with additional duties in cable laying (m/f) for full-time employment.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

• Implementing and adhering to defined health and safety measures
• Organizing work within the assigned team
• Laying power cables up to 525 kV in medium- and high-voltage areas, in pipe systems, excavation trenches, buildings, tunnels, and on electrical poles
• Driving vehicles and operating typical machinery used for cable laying (winches, pushers, and other machines and devices)
• Driving trucks, transporting and installing cable hangers, including carrying out and monitoring the winding and unwinding process (only for C+E category drivers)
• Preparing, conducting, and monitoring electrical tests (e.g., MV sheath testing, OTDR measurements, etc.)
• Participating in documentation of completed works according to project phases
• Performing activities in close cooperation with the site manager

• Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Several years of professional experience in similar jobs is desirable, but not mandatory
• Completed vocational training is desirable, but not mandatory
• Good manual skills
• Reliable, structured, flexible, and independent working style
• Personal commitment, communication and teamwork skills, flexibility, and resilience
• Careful and prudent behavior at work
• Willingness to take on assignments both domestically and abroad
• C+E driver’s license and Code 95 / B+E driver’s license
• Experience operating loading cranes (Atlas, Hiab, or similar) is desirable
• English language skills; German is an advantage
