Position Overview

The EU Operations Director will oversee all operational and project activities across the company's European facilities (UK+CZ). This role will be responsible for aligning operations with corporate strategy, optimizing processes, managing budgets, and ensuring that operational objectives align with regional and global goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee production planning and capacity management for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring best practices in manufacturing, safety, and quality.
• Monitor KPIs to improve productivity, quality, and cost control.
• Manage budgets for European operations, ensuring financial discipline.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives to improve margins.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team across multiple locations.
• Ensure compliance with European regulations (health & safety, environmental, labor laws).
• Develop risk management policies to mitigate operational risks.
• Work closely with sales, R&D, finance, and HR to align strategies.
• Support senior management in business development and expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in operations, with proven success in manufacturing, projects or process Engineering within Europe.
• Strong knowledge of European regulatory standards and best practices.
• Leadership experience in multi-site environments.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Excellent English and Czech communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
