Senior HSE and Facility Specialist

Required qualifications and key competencies:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE within a manufacturing environment.

· Proven Experience in leading a preventive H&S Agenda (e.g. Vision Zero, ISO 45001)

· Proven experience in facility management is a strong advantage.

· Certified HSE professional (OZO BOZP) is highly desirable.

· Fire protection certification (OZO PO) is highly desirable.

· In-depth knowledge of Czech HSE and fire protection legislation.

· Familiarity with ISO standards (14001, 50001, 45001).

· Strong project management and organizational skills.

· Strategic thinking and decision-making.

· Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management.

· Commitment to continuous improvement and safety culture.

· Advanced English (mandatory for reporting, audits, and calls).

· Proficiency in MS Office and HSE systems.

Main tasks and responsibility:

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Oversee site health & safety, and environmental (HS(E)) performance; ensure adherence to corporate and legal standards.

Monitor and assess potential risks in occupational safety and health.

Ensure compliance with HSE and fire protection regulations and internal policies.

Develop and maintain HSE and fire protection guidelines and procedures.

Track legislative changes and align site practices accordingly.

Lead internal audits and ensure needed compliance.

Maintain and evaluate risk registers and environmental aspects.

Ensure all facilities meet operational, safety, and environmental standards, creating a high-performing and compliant workplace.

Communicate with state authorities (e.g., labor inspectorate, hygiene station, fire brigade).

Report HSE performance and incidents to corporate stakeholders.

Provide expert advice and conduct employee training in HSE and fire safety.

Lead a preventive H&S approach (Vision Zero), including strategic projects, data analysis and local preventive actions.

Support site management on the H&S agenda

Support the local H&S groups and H&S Committee.

Prepare and manage HSE investment plans and budgets.

Design and implement preventive measures to improve safety in production.

Facility Management:

Oversee maintenance and operation of site infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.

Manage facility-related projects including renovations and upgrades.

Ensure functionality of HVAC, fire protection, security, and waste systems.

Supervise external service providers and contractors.

Ensure compliance with GMP and ESMS policies.
