Finance manager for SK Dynamo České Budějovice and Dynamo České Budějovice Akademie

For our customer SK Dynamo České Budějovice, a.s. and SK Dynamo České Budějovice Akademie, z.s., we are looking for a Finance Manager, whose main agenda will be to carry on finance management duties of the club and academy. The work will be carried out right in the office of the Club at Stadium seated on Střelecký Ostrov, České Budějovice, or at the seat of Academy, at Složiště site.

Job description:

• Full ownership of budget of both the Club and Academy, under close supervision of the Management
• Full scale reporting responsibility of P&L, Cashflow and Balance sheet
• Cashflow management and daily operations supervision
• First line contact with the external accounting provider
• Responsibility for coordination of annual closing procedures and related tax fillings
• Participation in general systems & procedures set up
• Responsibility for subsidies handling as well as major club partners’ point of contact
• Management & supervision of the back-office team

Ideal candidate should have:

• Practical experience with finance management (past experience in positions of head accountant/finance manager/finance controller is a plus)
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills (I like to keep order in things, but I can improvise and work in a structured way according to set priorities)
• Logical thinking and confidence with working with numbers (excel is not my enemy and working with various software/systems is not obstacle, but rather refreshing experience)
• Client-oriented approach
• Fluent English
