Our client is a well established company having a long production tradition for food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Focus of its activities lies in machining and manufacturing from stainless steel and construction of filling and packing machines for food-industry and chemical industry.

Main responsibilities of MD

Production and Team Management

• improving production processes with a focus on efficiency and quality
• monitoring of technical conditions of machine, issues and repair management
• leading the team, developing interpersonal relations
• improving effective communication channels
• coordination of cooperation sales, design, production and logistic department coleagues
• keep motivated atmosphere with performance

Technical Supervision

• learning and applying your technical know-how to ensure project success
• technical risk identification, evaluation of potential business opportunities with sales cooperation
• securing delivery date of projects

Financial Management

• development and management of the plant's budget
• monitoring costs and analyze financial performance (energy, services, loans)
• identification of possible cost reduction
• efficient resource allocation, investment management

Reporting

• securing monthly financial reports
• regularly reporting to a company owner in English

Plant improvement

• Estimate future investments to new technologies, machine reparations, production improvements etc.
• communication with local authority regarding safety, hygienic, environmental and fire regulations and audits

Sales

• Cooperating with clients to get the order in line with technical, quality and financial scope of project.

Requirements:

● Technical Education: A technical background is a must (preferably in engineering, special industrial machines).

● experience as a Plant Manager, Project-Production Manager, or General Manager in a medium-sized or small company (preferably within the engineering, manufacturing).

● Experience in the production of specialized machines is an advantage.

● Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.

● Knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, industrialization, production).

● Native Czech language is required; advanced proficiency in English is also a must
