Technical Manager – Samsung Open RAN

Samsung Networks is a global leader in Open RAN, with successful deployments across Asia, the United States, Canada, and Europe. As part of our continued expansion in Europe, we are seeking a Technical Manager to lead ORAN network activities and support delivery across key projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex mobile network deployments across their full lifecycle — from design and validation through to operational delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality execution, effective collaboration, and strong customer engagement.

The position is based in Prague and involves travel within the Czech Republic, as well as occasional travel across Europe and to Samsung headquarters in Korea.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with the Head of Operation on resource planning and project setup
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships across delivery phases
• Identify resourcing needs and support team scaling where required
• Oversee key activities across Network Design, testing/validation, and operations
• Work with internal teams to ensure network performance and stability
• Support incident management and coordination with technical support teams
• Ensure delivery milestones are met and aligned with customer expectations
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and key topics
• Coordinate with vendors and partners to support successful delivery

What You Bring

• Background in Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in the mobile telecommunications industry
• Good understanding of mobile network technologies (e.g. LTE, 5G, ORAN)
• Familiarity with network design, testing, or operational environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
• Proactive approach and ability to take ownership
• Fluent Czech and English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Open RAN environments
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, or cloud-native architectures
• Experience with large-scale or multi-country deployments
• Previous exposure to vendor or customer-facing roles
