Our Technical Product Management team is responsible for driving the development, evolution and technical integrity of LKQ’s product range within an assigned segment (e.g. braking, engine parts, steering and suspension, or electric and electronics) in the whole Europe region.

Right now we are looking for a new colleauge who would join this team and who would act as a key technical reference 🚚

What to expect in the role:

Product and Assortment Management:

• Driving the development and optimization of the assigned product assortment in order to meet strategic goals based on three main key performance indicators (KPIs): range coverage, launch time and product data quality.
• Analyzing market dynamics, competitive landscape and market requirements.
• Monitoring and analyzing competitors’ assortments and identifying areas for potential growth.

Private label & Technical Expertise:

• Playing a pivotal role in the launch and maintenance of private label references, particularly relating to technical aspects.
• Develop a solid understanding of performance specifications across third-party brands and private label ranges.

Data Quality & Technical support:

• Ensuring the continuous improvement of product data and delivering first-level technical support by diagnosing and resolving customer issues via phone, email, or chat for prompt and efficient resolution.
• Understanding performance specification for third party brands and private label range.
• Comparing 3rd party brands and private label ranges with 1Xtool.
• Providing technical advice for product management.
• Working in alignment with quality department on quality standards.
• Providing technical training and product explanations to internal stakeholders such as marketing or sales teams.

Continuos improvement:

• Identifying potential errors, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities across product data, processes and technical content.

What will you need:

• Prior product development and technical data management experience gained within the automotive industry and/or independent aftermarket (IAM) spare part business.
• Solid understanding of repair procedures in workshops, including tooling and equipment requirements.
• Competency in the use of IAM data systems such as Olyslager, TecDoc and TecRMI as well as original equipment (OE) repair data systems and/or part catalog systems.
• Skilled in using the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
