Role Purpose

The Global Manufacturing Engineering, Technology & Continuous Improvement Director is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and deploying the global manufacturing engineering strategy across all operations.

The role ensures optimal end-to-end manufacturing performance, including facility design, material flow, process standardisation, cost competitiveness, and continuous improvement. It drives the implementation of a world-class manufacturing excellence system, leveraging digitalisation, standardisation, and lean principles to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability.

This position operates at a global level, partnering with regional operations leaders, engineering teams, and corporate functions to deliver sustainable performance improvements and support strategic growth initiatives.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Defining and implementing global manufacturing standards (layout, material flow, process design)
• Driving end-to-end manufacturing optimisation across all plants
• Leading and deploying Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Identifying and executing cost reduction and productivity improvement projects
• Developing capacity planning models aligned with business growth
• Overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialisation processes
• Establishing standard times and performance measurement systems
• Defining and standardising manufacturing equipment strategy
• Driving digitalisation initiatives, including SAP-based maintenance systems (PM/EAM)
• Building and leading a Global Manufacturing Excellence System
• Leading key strategic transformation projects across the organisation

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or similar)
• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing / industrial engineering
• Proven experience in a global, multi-site leadership role
• Strong track record in Lean transformation and cost optimisation
• Experience managing CAPEX investments and industrial projects
• Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and CI methodologies
• Experience with SAP (preferably PM/EAM modules)
• Strong leadership, influencing, and change management skills
