This role isn’t for lawyers who only want to review contracts. It’s for someone ready to shape a company’s entire legal direction.

Required skills:
Proven legal leadership experience in an international company.
Strong background in international, corporate, commercial and contract law.
Hands-on experience with compliance, AML, GDPR and privacy frameworks.
Experience negotiating complex multi-jurisdiction deals.
Understanding of regulated markets (MGA, Curaçao, Isle of Man, ONJN, Greece, Brazil).
3+ years in a corporate/IT legal environment.
Master’s degree in Law (preferably Czech university).
Ability to travel globally without restrictions.
Excellent English, strong drafting/negotiation skills.
Practical experience with Czech legal environment.

Responsibilities:
Legal Strategy & Governance

• Build and execute legal strategy aligned with global expansion.
• Assess risks when entering new markets (EU, LATAM, Asia, Africa).
• Oversee group structure: subsidiaries, SPVs, partnerships.
• Design licensing & certification roadmaps for regulated jurisdictions.

Public & External Representation

• Represent the company at conferences, regulatory events and exhibitions.
• Build relationships with regulators and external law firms.

Contracting & Negotiations

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements (operators, studios, aggregators, PSPs, tech partners).
• Maintain and update templates (NDA, MSA, SLA, licensing, turnkey).
• Lead negotiations with key partners and investors.

Compliance & Regulatory

• Implement regulations from MGA, Curaçao, Isle of Man, ONJN, Greece, Brazil, etc.
• Oversee AML, KYC and Responsible Gaming processes.
• Maintain GDPR, DPDP and privacy frameworks.
• Ensure corporate processes align with partner/regulator standards.

Cross-department Support

• Sales/AM: due diligence, offer docs, payment verification.
• Product/Tech: IP, integrations, licensing, APIs.
• Marketing: campaign review, media rights, influencers.
• HR/Operations: employment, relocations, contractors.

Risk & Litigation

• Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, tax and sanctions risks.
• Manage claims, pre-litigation, settlements.
• Coordinate external counsel and legal audits.

Team & Process Leadership

• Build and develop the internal legal team.
• Set standards for contract workflows, approvals, document storage, reporting.
• Implement automation: templates, e-signatures, CRM integrations.
• Train teams on contract basics and regulatory discipline.
