What you’ll do
You will be based at our Boskovice location.

As the Group Category Manager, you will lead and execute the strategy for the category Technology & Electronic Components (check-out components, retail technologies, electrical components, etc.) across all MBUs. You will manage supplier relationships, optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions, and drive category performance to achieve market share and financial targets. Your role will involve market analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement to maximize cost-effectiveness, innovation, and value delivery across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement long-term strategies for your category in line with group-wide business goals
• Lead major sourcing initiatives (RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations) and manage supplier relationships
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify opportunities, risks, and cost-saving initiatives
• Define product assortment and manage lifecycle strategies (introduction, growth, maturity, end-of-life)
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and sustainable sourcing practices
• Support supplier development in coordination with regional and central procurement managers
• Act as the main contact for category-related decisions and escalations

Requirements / Skills:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement or category management
Industry experience in Shopfitting, Automotive, Technology, or Electronics
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office
Fluent in English and Czech (both written and spoken);
Understanding of manufacturing processes, retail products, and emerging technologies
Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (~25% of time)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics; Master’s or relevant certifications are a plus
