For our location in Pilsen, we are looking for an engineer within the central engineering department for the global competence center Digital Engineering Applications to implement part of our WACKER digital strategy.

CAD Application-Owner

Your tasks:

• Administration, installation and configuration of the CAD systems AutoCAD, Inventor and Navisworks
• Organization and management of models and drawings in Vault
• Development and optimization of Autodesk products including interfaces to connected applications, integration of other group locations
• Planning, development, documentation and commissioning of new functions and workflows
• Global user administration and license management
• Management of upgrade projects, management of external service providers
• Support, training and consulting of users and key-users
• Deputy function for related CAX application areas
• Perspective of leading a satellite team at the Pilsen site

Ideal candidate should have:

• Degree in engineering/computer science or comparable qualification
• Knowledge and experience in the administration and customizing of PDM and CAD solutions (preferable Autodesk)
• Knowledge of Windows and database-based systems as well as client-server applications
• Knowledge of the common IT applications (Office applications, SAP)
• English spoken and written; good German skills preferable
• Problem-oriented, creative thinking
• Flexibility for constantly changing system and software environments
• Team and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
