Manutan is European leader in distant B2B sales. We combine e-commerce platform with more that 100 000 products with activity of sales representatives focused on individual customers. To support our product development team in Ostrava (Czech Republic) we are looking for:

Product manager is responsible for development and maintenance of dedicated product categories on markets we operate in (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary / manutan.cz / pl / sk / hu). Product manager objective is to maximise margin coming from sales of goods in his/her portfolio. Category manager job covers price policy, depth and width of assortment, product content, availability of products, internal product training and product marketing. Product manager cooperates on daily basis with purchase and marketing team and sales department.

Your responsibility:

• Development and maintenance of approximately 8 thousands products in terms of sales price, availability, description in order to support sales
• Systematic work with data like price calculations, sales trends, margin trends, product specifications
• Reporting to head of category management, development of new product categories and its implementation
• Internal communication, internal training of our sales/marketing teams
• Close cooperation with purchase, product content and marketing teams

We expect:

• Previous experience from similar position in e-commerce, retail or wholesale business are preferred (for example product marketing, trade marketing, category management, purchase and similar)
• Very good analytical skills, sales and customer support focused person
• Data driven approach, ability to work with big and structured data (advanced Excel)
• Team player with good level of communication, presentation skills, both in Czech and English (approximately level B2/B1 or better)
