The Czech Aerospace Research Centre is the national centre for research, development, and testing in aerospace industry. Its mission is to provide scientific support and bring innovative solutions for the industry. Our Headquaters is in Prague, part of our Space team is in Brno. We participate in a broad pallet of research and development tasks aimed at more efficient aviation. We closely cooperate with industry and our aim is to transfer innovative solutions that can be applied in the aircraft industry. We are one of the leaders in the Czech space program in the field of technologies, instruments and equipment for the use in space, including our own satellites.

Responsibilities

Setting standards and procedures for quality in space projects
Reviewing customer requirements to ensure that they can be/are being met
Define mission PA/QA requirements and their verification
Preparation of project product and quality assurance documentation, e.g. PA&QA Plans
Participation in formal customer reviews (Design & Test related)
Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
Perform or co-ordinate internal audits (product and process) and manage any corrective actions
Interact with customers and suppliers in Quality/Product Assurance matters
Participate in bid/proposal preparations Skills & Experience

Qualifications and experience

Engineer (Degree level) with experience in Product Assurance and Quality management disciplines
Experience within the space domain with a working knowledge of ESA ECSS development and quality standards (for ground and/or flight product applications)
Experience in the domain of electronic system development (hardware/firmware and software)
Have strong communication and collaboration skills
Have experience in interacting with customers, sub-contractors and suppliers
Experience in supporting the Engineering Teams and have a proactive attitude towards solving problems
Experience in configuration management (documentation, hardware, software, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and solid for Czech)
