As IT Security Specialist you will be a member of the Global IT Operations Team and report directly to the IT Operations Manager Eastern Europe.

Our highest priority is to continuously improve the Security on Global level and here we are looking for our new Team Member who will have a significant role to implement risk mitigation solutions.

In this key role, you will help to all KAVX locations in Eastern Europe region by protecting computer and networking systems from potential issues, closely collaborate with different IT Teams and negotiate with our internal Business Partners when and how to implement Changes and Security Improvements. You will also ensure that the Corporate standards are followed on local level and actively suggest ideas how to make them better.

As the Specialist of Patch and Vulnerability Management, your objective is to operate and implement patch and vulnerability management methodologies using various automation toolsets.

Bzenec, CZ (or Uherske Hradiste, CZ)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform overall operational duties of the enterprise patch and vulnerability management solution and remediation processes
• Ensure Business Continuity by negotiating planned maintenances with internal Business Partners
• Ensure patches fully deployed and that all devices on the network are compliant with patching policies (including analysis and tracking of patch deployment, and partnership with IT to remediate vulnerabilities)
• Apply Security related patches and changes on client computers and servers
• Troubleshooting hardware and software Security related issues and follow-up until they are solved
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on desktops, laptops and servers
• Monitor the availability of IT systems through existing portals and log/resolve/escalate issues
• Follow IT standards, processes and policies – propose improvements of these
• Project Management
• Daily administrative tasks, documentation, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization
• Work in an international team and be part of a multicultural team

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Desktop Services Engineer or Support Technician
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution
• Accuracy with work, strong organizational skills and attention to details
• Good project management experience
• Able to communicate in English – as you will work in a Global team
• Strong Windows 7-11, Enterprise anti-virus solutions and PC troubleshooting experience
• Working experience in a manufacturing company is an advantage
• Experience with tools for User management, software deployment and Windows PC backup solutions
• Good network and servers knowledge
• 30% Travel to onsite locations in Eastern Europe region
• Ability to provide explanations of complex technical procedures and processes clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Stay up to date with latest security technology and trends
