Logistics Supervisor

We are looking for a full time Logistics Supervisor position who would work with us on the expansion of our current market position. We expect candidates to be interested in photovoltaics and to have a positive attitude towards renewable energy.

Role description:

• Lead team of logistics specialists and supervise import, export and intercompany processes
• Contract and re-tender of service providers; negotiate conditions with transportation companies and warehouses
• Collect, monitor and analyze agreed SOPs and KPIs with selected service providers
• Support and train of colleagues regarding the logistics processes
• Help to maintain and improve good relationship with warehouses and carriers
• Supervise routing logistic process using contract rates when available or obtaining spot quotes
• Support the logistics team handling more complex logistics tasks, challenges and projects

What you will need to have:

• Is interested in photovoltaics and willing to learn about the industry
• Is precise and reliable
• Thinks analytically and is able to present results
• Has at least 3 years of relevant experience with logistics and 1 year with leading people
• Has working knowledge of PC office suites, has technological understanding
• Communicates in Czech and English fluently
