For our client, a global leader in human and animal nutrition and the world’s premier agricultural origination and processing company, we are searching for the right candidate for position

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER for EMEA REGION.

Role Summary:
Key responsibility of this position is the promotion of company's products portfolio primarily targeting on dietary supplement and consumer healthcare segment customers. The main goal is to explore and build new business and increase sales. The main territory focus will be will Eastern Europe. The position could be home-office based depending on the current location for the successful candidate. Estimated travel time will be 30%-40%.
 
Job Responsibilities:

  • fulfill company objectives in the designated region
  • based on market analyses define a regional commercial strategy including customer segmentation, channel identification and cross-selling opportunities for particular products
  • develop short and medium-term business plans to expand the customer product portfolio in the Dietary Supplements market segments
  • define the relevant application supports to meet the customer demands and execute by collaborating with their application interface and leveraging the regional/global application structures
  • active presence in selected fairs and trade shows
  • state relevant market activities in the region in order to support the sales strategy


Job Requirements:

  • graduate of Bachelor of science, preferably in biochemistry/ microbiology/ chemistry/ pharmacy/ food science
  • minimum 5 years successful experience in B2B Sales, marketing, product management in the probiotics/prebiotics/microorganisms for the Dietary Supplements segment and/or Pharma industries
  • provable previous leadership experience in successful market development, introduction and commercialization of new products
  • experience in project management is advantage
  • ability to cooperate across matrix organization and preferably at global level
  • key performance metrics are: revenue, Gross Margin, and Operational Profit
  • practical experience with local and international sales markets
  • ability to cooperate across matrix organization and preferably at global level
  • result oriented, self-motivated and willing to succeed
  • excellent English skills (level B2/C1), other languages as advantage (German/Russian)
