Vrgineers Inc. is a leader in delivering next-generation virtual and mixed-reality pilot training systems for professional and military clients. We are looking for a motivated, energetic person with necessary experience to build, improve and manage our finance and operational team. 

Finance Manager

What will you be doing?

  • reporting directly to the CEO - on a daily basis
  • improving and managing the finance (controlling and accounting), HR and back-office departments

Finance agenda:

  • creating and managing financial plans (BP) – long- and short-term
  • evaluating results and budget deviations
  • managing cash flow
  • managing and overseeing the preparation of monthly financial reporting – internal (management), external (investors), cooperating on setting monthly forecasted KPIs
  • supervising finance procedures (payments, invoicing)
  • establishing and developing relations with finance subjects, external partners, and stakeholders (CZ + US)
  • managing external advisors – tax advisory, accounting firms, legal firms, auditors

Operations Management agenda:

  • develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
  • ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filled, monitor compliance with laws and regulations
  • quotation/ RFP document processing and administration
  • customs processing and clearance
  • assist HR when necessary
  • promote company culture, build alliances and partnership within the organization


What should you know and have experience in?

  • a total of 2-3+ years' experience in finance departments and 2+ years’ experience leading finance department, preferably in manufacturing midsize companies
  • have experience with building financial reporting from scratch
  • be well versed in financial statements and financial analyses
  • have in-depth knowledge of MS Office tools
  • active use of English - C1 level and native Czech language
  • be dynamic and have strong leadership skills
  • pro-active, hand-on management style, have an open and communicative personality

What are the targets for 2023?

  • company-wide budget management
  • punctual monthly reporting (KPIs), soft close – close on time
  • accounting method change – stock management, product accounting
  • set internal transfer pricing in cooperation with tax advisors
  • set internal operation processes
  • prepare the company for an audit in 2023 and possible Due Diligence
