Application Developer - JAVA

We are looking for experienced Java developer responsible for maintaining and further development of Java applications. Primary responsibilities will be to design and develop solutions/changes and to support applications running in production.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.


  • Design, build, and maintain Java code
  • Support of testing and production deployments
  • Analysis of reported bugs and issues
  • Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

  • 2 years of experience in Java development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, familiarity with standard design patterns
  • Familiarity with Java frameworks - Spring, JDBC/ORM, JUnit, Mockito
  • Experience with using relational databases
  • Strong grasp of GIT version control system
  • Knowledge of agile development principles
  • English language (both written and spoken)

There will be maximum 3 rounds of „interviews “:

  • a short call with HR
  • 2 rounds of interviews with hiring managers
