GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading & managing all culinary activities relating to Czech cuisine, ensuring compliance with Velaa’s standards in quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Ensure all staff under supervision are trained to the standards and aware of the specifications for all Czech dishes.
Continuously work on maintaining the consistency of dishes and take initiative on improving the quality and range of choices.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years experience at 5-star luxury hotels/resorts in preparing traditional Czech cuisine .
Trained in authentic and contemporary Czech cuisine.
A Bachelors in Culinary arts or related field is a plus.
An impeccable eye for detail & plating in a high-volume environment.
Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP and other food safety standards.
Good command of written & spoken English.
Enjoys working with multicultural teams and has a positive & pleasant personality.
Ability to guide and mentor team members relating to Czech cuisine.
Guest oriented with the flexibility in covering long duty hours if need be.
