As Quality Engineer you will translate internal and/or external customers quality expectations into factors that can be measured and integrate quality initiatives into projects throughout the life cycle of the product. You will also assure the Quality of processes and products by consistently promoting continuous improvement in all areas.


Your key responsibilities:


• Assist customers regarding quality issues.
• Develop working relationships with assigned customers and team members. Develop, revise, and maintain Quality documentation as necessary.
• Participate in the Continuous Improvement efforts utilizing Quality Tools.
• Lead the process of claims (8D), the First Article process, nonconforming material handling
• Support and organize work of Quality technicians
• Assist in Advanced Quality Planning for New Products as required by Project Management
• Assist Departments with Quality System and Product/Process Quality related issues and coordinate the Quality effort
• Create quality related reports for internal and external distribution
• Perform internal audits and participate in external audits
• Maintain quality data like PPM, 8Ds, PPAP's, SPC, MSA, RCA and others as appropriate
• Inform leadership in case of nonconformity
• Apply quality standards ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 and CSR
• Provide training on quality related topics to others in the organization.
• Follow effective legislation and EHSMS, ethics rules and labor ethics
• Fulfil other tasks related to job position according to superior instructions
• Authorization: In urgent case stop production.

Qualifications:

• Several years of relevant experience
• Technical background
• Czech and English language skills
• PC and software skills: MS Office, MS Excel, MFG Pro / QAD, MiniTab, Qtree
• Knowledge of EHSMS - ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Requirements on product quality , IATF 16949 , VDA 6.3, VDA 6.2 - sampling, FMEA , DFMEA , 8D , PPAP, APQP (TTM) , MSA , SPC , Risk analysis, Analysis of root cause , Process audit, Product audit , System audit, Morelevel audit , Technical documentation
• Desirable knowledge of Technology of plastic and metal products, Laser welding ,Pressing , Washing process , Knowledge of elastomer and absorber, 3D measuring , Warehouse administration
