Key Account Assistant (Durex, Dettol, Nurofen, Strepsils)

Key Account Assistant

The overall objective of this role is to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with Reckitt Benckiser’s strategic objectives (such as NR, MSL compliance, %MS gains etc.) and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis together with Senior Key Account Manager. The mid/long-term goal is also to understand the reasons behind performance and RB business overall.

Next to customer-business responsibilities this role is also handling sales performance reports and few other internal systems. Purpose of this is to adopt and understand RB´s ways of working and reporting.

Key Account Assistant is part of the sales team and is considered as a career start in the sales department. The role requires close cross functional interaction with trade marketing, planning, marketing, logistics, finance, and IS.

Due to this, the role is a great start for fresh university graduates.

Key responsibilities:

Developing, selling, implementing and evaluating business plans to meet or exceed financial goals and responsibility for achieving strategic objectives per customer
Building long term partnership with the customers
Responsible for the promotional strategy per customer, and promotional execution (including ROI management, sellout analysis)
Responsible for developing customer new product launch plans and ensuring successful implementation
Managing and improving distribution, pricing, shelving and merchandising
Preparing ad hoc analysis
Working in close partnership with the sales team

Is it you?

Minimum Bachelor’s degree level ideally in a business related subject
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, SAP knowledge is advantage
Strong initiative, problem solving, learning agility, good interpersonal
Fluent English and Czech
Analytical skills
Independent working style
Positive attitude towards challenges and changes
