Become a part of the worldwide movement Doctors without borders! The humanitarian and medical organisation, Doctors without borders, opened a new Shared IT Service (SITS) centre in Prague in 2019. This centre provides IT support to all interested parties around the world – people sent to missions, operating centres, sections and branch offices.

Under the responsibility of the Head of ERP Support and development, the Analyst / Developer is in charge of developing IT solutions for all UniField IT-related topics supporting Finance and Supply business domain.


Relational Databases Management System

  • Develop, maintain and administrate a structured and readable datawarehouse ready to use by the clients
  • Collect, transform, store and organize data using postgreSQL functions and bash/python automated scripts
  • Establish linkage with client datawarehouses and support them in building their own

Web Services and API

  • Develop and maintain web services to enable UniField ERP system to interact with external tools
  • Use API for the integration of data from external tools into the ERP
  • Develop and maintain specific tools customized for the ERP

Analyse, synthetise and model the requirements of Finance and Supply business domain, to design and develop complex information systems

Automated Testing:

  • Maintain and enhance the code of the automated testing tool “TestField” using python progamming language

  • Support and train functional testers in the writing of the tests in the automated tools
  • Provide dashboards for perfomance evolution along several Unifield versions
  • Ensure all performance Test Cases pass for every patch release, maintain and update Test Cases when needed


  • Provide technical support and trainings to the internal team and MSF HQs IT experts

Maintain IT system documentation in github


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in developing and supporting IT solutions either as IT developer, IT Data analyst, IT business analyst…
  • University degree (engineering school) in computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent workforce experience
  • Strong knowledge of relational database management system (PostgreSQL and pgAdmin a strong advantage)

  • Strong knowledge of SQL language and queries
  • Strong knowledge of Python object-oriented programming language
  • Good knowledge of web services and API (xml-rpc or rest an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of BI tools (Power BI a plus)
  • Good knowledge of Linux, Docker, CI/CD principles, version control using Git
  • Knowledge of supply chain and/or accounting principles is a strong advantage

Who we are

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and healthcare exclusion. MSF offers assistance to people in need and irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. The organisation was founded in 1971 in France by a group of doctors and journalists in the wake of war and famine in Biafra, Nigeria. Their aim was to establish an independent organization that focuses on delivering emergency medicine aid quickly, effectively and impartially. Three hundred volunteers made up the organization when it was founded: doctors, nurses and other staff, including the 13 founding doctors and journalists.

Today, MSF is a worldwide movement of more than 65,000 people working in 21 sections, 12 branch offices, 5 Operational Centres and three supply centres worldwide. There are as many IT departments as sections, and together they support more than 32,000 system users spread over MSF offices and missions across the globe. To gain in efficiency and improve end-user experience, MSF has built its own Shared IT Services (SITS) Centre in Prague.
