We are hiring an IT Service Desk Analyst for our international team in Prague for EMEA support.

Our future colleague will need to be customer oriented with strong communication, research and problem solving skills.

Position Statement

IT Service Desk Analysts are responsible for providing 1st line support to Crown Worldwide users, managing all IT related problems and service requests. The Service Desk continues to ‘own’ the problem and keep the user fully informed during the resolution period.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring incoming requests via our helpdesk system, phone, instant message, emails or walk in.

Priority assignment, based on the issue or the user, informing users of progress and escalation of issues above service desk support, closure on user agreement to resolution.
Providing desktop support for all Crown Worldwide standard software packages.
Providing basic Citrix support services including remote support via shadowing.
Completing basic set-up relocation and termination of users in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Lotus Notes and Crown Worldwide standard software packages.
Configuration of new Desktops, Laptops Network Printers and Thin clients to agreed Crown Standards.
Rebuilding of existing Desktops and laptops, reimaging thin clients as and when required.
Investigating and resolving known or suspected issues around Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Applications including Office 365, Lotus Applications and general IT Equipment.
Provision of Application support on specific Crown software to agreed guidelines for our Business Divisions.
Liaising with local vendors to ensure delivery of any outsourced IT services, phone system, security systems etc.

Professional Skills & Qualifications

Have relevant IT Service Desk User Support experience within a Microsoft environment.
Have good communication skills, both written and verbal and a strong command of English.
Have skills in the following areas:
Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Office Products – Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio would be advantageous
Office 365 User Support
A good understanding of supporting users within a Citrix Xenapp
Remote shadow support tools
Symantec Endpoint Protection support
Apple iPad and iPhone Support
HP Hardware – configuration and trouble shooting
Lenovo Thinkpads – configuration and trouble shooting
