Chief Financial Officer

We’re searching for an experienced CFO to join our team of high-performing professionals to help keep our finances insightful and instrumental to our continued success. The CFO will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position in close cooperation with Amundi headquarter in Paris. We expect our CFO not only understands current accounting practices and trends, but has proven experience in reporting, business analysis, tax issues, risk management and/or capital adequacy methodology and calculations knowledge is the advantage.

Reporting to COO, CFO is a member of our senior management, he or she will be comfortable in a leadership role that demands clear communication and presentation skills.

Job Overview

  • Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs
  • Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization
  • Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, project management, cross team communications and workflow
  • Comply with local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and taking action


  • Work with the senior management and all relevant company business lines to efficiently develop proposal budgets, provide respective reporting
  • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyse internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement
  • Oversees overall tax position of the Company, manages the relation with local Tax Authority, ensures that intercompany relations are in compliance with applicable transfer pricing rules
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure
  • Close cooperation with HR function, coordinating with external service providers (payroll, benefits, and general HR)
  • Monitor performance with tracking, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting, legal and managerial in close cooperation with local management team and Amundi HQ
  • Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with all applicable Financial Accounting Standards and other relevant regulations


  • Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
  • 5+ years of experience in executive leadership positions, preferably from financial industry
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliations, transfer pricing policies, and consolidation of local financial statements into finance statements of the holding company will be beneficial
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Understanding of advanced accounting, legal and managerial reporting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
  • Fluent English necessary, Czech and French languages big+
  • Experience with IFR/IFD and other financial industry regulations as a plus
  • Positive approach and open mind
