Our client is a leader in refrigeration equipment in the automotive industry with a global presence and a wide range of solution scope from project engineering and product manufacturing to installation and aftersales customer service. We are looking for a professional who likes challenges in an environment of change and growth in the role of:

CATEGORY BUYER

What will be your responsibilities?

• Negotiate and implement contracts with suppliers, negotiate contracts about price, quality and logistic service level on the plant level
• Drive cost savings projects together with R&D department, actively manage cost, productivity, quality, delivery and performance
• Lead sourcing/benchmarking/supplier selection activities for supply base in charge
• Identify all supplier on the market capable of support the business and optimize the supplier portfolio business transformations
• Coordinate and manage identified projects
• Support Supplier Quality Department and supplier charge back

What should be your profile?

• Experience in purchasing
• Economical or Supply Chain university degree
• Good negotiator, presenter, and project manager, team player, accept and enjoy challenges
• Advanced English language knowledge, any other European language is an advantage
• MS Office and SAP R/3 knowledge
• Driving license, like to travel
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes, technologies, markets is a plus
