Operations Manager

For our international client, leader in manufacturing, based in Northern Bohemia we are looking for suitable candidates for a position: OPERATIONS MANAGER.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading and managing all areas of manufacturing operations with a team of over 20 indirect and more than 200 direct employees within an international matrix organization
• Managing material planning, purchasing and production scheduling teams
• Implementing Continuous improvement and lean principles
• Ensuring quality and satisfaction of both internal and external customers
• Focus on cost and efficiency
• Teams leadership, employees’ development and motivation
• Communicating with many international peers and stakeholders on regular basis
• Cooperating with local support functions such as Finance and HR
• Ensuring high safety standards in all areas of the business

Requirements & Skills:

• Engineering or other technical degree ( Bc. is minimum)
• Industrial / manufacturing operations management background is essential
• Automotive experience would be a plus
• Lean & continuous improvement knowledge
• Business oriented
• Leadership and communication skills, people management
• Advanced English, both spoken and written, German would be nice to have
