Corinthia Hotel Prague is offering a challenging opportunity for a candidate who is able to deliver results in Human Resources. The main goal for this position is to manage all strategic and operational HR matters taking an active senior/leadership role with various strategic business initiatives as requested as part of the Senior Executive Team.

The candidate will be responsible for:

- Overseeing all HR aspects (HR planning & budgeting, Recruitment & Induction, Talent development, HR Admin, Payroll, Performance Appraisals, Employee motivation etc.)
- Leading, managing and motivating the Human Resources Team
- Setting HR strategy based on the company strategy, trends and latest best practices
- Setting the annual HR budget ensuring that costs are in line controlled throughout the year
- Setting annual objectives, manages and evaluates the appraisal system
- Supporting and advising the Management team in terms of labour law, HR practices and leadership, reporting directly to General manager
- Taking part on CHI group initiatives as required (policies, procedures, plans, meetings)
- Working professionally with third party suppliers (outsourced agencies, government offices etc)
- Producing manual of HR policies and procedures according to the law and company requirements
- Recognizing, rewarding and motivating team members through creative initiatives
- HR Controlling, analysis, reporting, statistics, salary & benefit surveys
- Organizing Employee Engagement Survey, analyzing results, suggesting improvements
- Collective bargaining
- Undertaking Duty Executive shifts, acting as a senior management representative

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

- At least 3 years’ experience within Human Resources at senior level
- Knowledge of written & spoken English on professional level and Czech
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
- High level of presentation and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of Labour local law
- Detailed understanding of HR best practices and techniques
- Independent user of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility
