Production Manager in deputy leadership

We are a family business and specialized in manufacture of Snack-items.

To strengthen our team we are currently looking for:

Production Manager in deputy leadership

Tasks / responsibility / competence:

- Management and further development of the assigned employees

- production planning and scheduling

- personal disposition and shift planning

- creation of production-related records / documentation

- continuous process and material flow optimization using lean methods

- responsible for the introduction of a standard for cleaning in the area of responsibility, as well as the consistent safeguarding (of order and cleanliness) using the 5S method and internal audits

- close cooperation with the production manager colleagues and the offshore departments

- close cooperation with the maintenance / building technology / equipment optimization management to ensure high system availability

- responsible for the technical training and instruction of new employees

- active participation in lean projects for continuous process and material flow optimization

- responsible for compliance with and monitoring of all legal requirements in the area of food safety as well as the IFS and hygiene regulations

- member of the internal HACCP team

What we expect from you:

- successfully completed training in the food or technical field, ideally further training to become a master

- several years of professional experience in a responsible position, ideally within the food industry

- experience in leadership / employee motivation

- distinct quality awareness and experience in dealing with HACCP, ISO and IFS certification with corresponding implementation in the production area

- confident handling of MS Office (Excel, Word) ideally ERP knowledge

- good knowledge of German language
