Position Summary:

This position is located in Jažlovice, Czech Republic.

The Junior Accountant, reporting to ARB Financial and Accounting manager will be responsible for the daily support operation of ARB Europe’s Accounting Department.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

- administrative support
- cooperation and support of other departments
- posting of received invoices in CZK and other currencies
- accounting with a link to stock management
- preparation of reports for the parent company on a weekly basis
- preparation of documents for auditors and tax advisors
- business trip and expense reports processing

Accounts Payables

- received invoices posting
- evidence of invoices
- match-offs
- posting I/C invoices and credit notes (especially containers related)

Bank Statements

- incoming and outgoing transactions in CZK and EUR
- Bank Reconciliations

Accounts Receivables

- distribution of Statements
- communication with customers regarding open balances and invoice matching
- ad hoc issuing of manual invoices

Preparation of supporting evidence for payments
Travel expenses, cash reimbursement, credit card transactions (no cash transactions)
Support of finance manager e.g. during audit or preparation of tax returns

Administration

Purchase Orders
- maintenance of P/Os for stock and non-stock purchases
- product return and credit note requests

Various reporting (preparation or support of finance manager)
- Intrastat and statistical report preparation
- export or sales related reports
- time sheet collection and report preparation for payroll
- incoming container customs paperwork archiving

Ad hoc support of finance manager and Group finance department in case of company finance reporting or other reporting (Czech Statistical Office), etc.
Completing the documents for external accountant (VAT, receipts)
Support in area of payroll (attendance sheets, meal vouchers administration, deductions)

Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, or Education Required:

- Education in the field of accounting
- English language skills at communicative level (verbally and in writing)
- Computer literacy, logical thinking, independence, responsibility
- Good computer skills, specifically excel. JDE (Oracle ERP) experience will be beneficial
