Early Career Talent Program

Are you independent, self-driven and interested in exploring the world of credit insurance? Have you gained some experience in business, finance or risk management but wish to try out more before you settle for a longer-term career and in-depth exploration of a particular field? Would you like to be involved in both local and international projects, combine “business as usual” operations with conceptual agendas and take on a high level of responsibility? Then this program might have well been designed exactly for you!

We are Euler Hermes and we are looking for someone who wants to join us as part of the Early Career Talent program; who will become part of our team preferably in the EH Czech Republic - Prague office. The Euler Hermes Northern Region Early Career Talent Program is designed to attract talented professionals who have a long-term interest in EH and credit insurance. As an Early Career Talent you will be based in Prague, Czech Republic with rotations foreseen across a number of departments possibly in Commercial, Risk and Finance departments with opportunities to engage in X company change innovation initiatives.

Your typical day to day will vary, depending on the particular department or initiative you will be involved in; you will receive job rotations in various functions together with both on-the-job training and formal/ informal development sessions. You will be involved in and support projects and innovation initiatives at local and CEE level. You can expect to attend many meetings, with both internal and with customers and other stakeholders and have opportunity to make an impact.

The program will start in Q1 2020 and go on for 12 - 18 months - that will give you a unique start in credit insurance sector, enhancing your skills and preparing you for the next steps in your professional development.

We will be pleased to welcome you in our team, if you have/are:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, International Management or other related discipline;
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in business, finance, risk management;
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities;
  • Very good communication, facilitation and negotiation skills;
  • Interpersonal skills - curious, self-aware and not afraid to step up and speak out;
  • Desire to keep learning and developing;
  • Genuine interest to actively participate in projects and activities which are innovation, technically or digitally related;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills English and at least 1 – 2 languages of the CEE region (CZ, SK, HU, RO, BG).
