DaaS (Citrix) Engineer

Do you want to keep up to date with modern technologies and expand your toolkit for operating VDIs? With Itadel, you will have the possibility to gain knowledge and work with the rest of the DaaS team’s technologies and areas. You will be working with a broad selection of areas including deployment, desktop publishing, user profile handling, application delivery and the desktop OS.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Deploy, operate and troubleshoot Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp & XenDesktop)
  • Deploy, operate and troubleshoot Citrix NetScaler
  • Deploy, configure and troubleshoot VDIs on both Citrix and VMWare
  • Be part of the on-call-service (duty outside of working hours)

You will join our Desktop as a Service team

The DaaS team is responsible for deploying, operating and troubleshooting the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) that delivers the desktop as well as the desktop itself. The DaaS team is also responsible for our MFA solution, Citrix Netscaler and deploying/managing the desktop on physical devices.

You are the one we are looking for if you:

  • have 3+ years of experience deploying and operating VDI solutions
  • are experienced with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp & XenDesktop)
  • are experienced with Citrix Netscalers
  • are fluent in English, both spoken and written

It is your advantage if you also have experience with:

  • VMWare Horizon VDI
  • Public Cloud (primarily Azure)
  • Application Deployment
  • User profile management
  • Customizing and optimization of the end-user desktop
  • Scripting and automation
  • SMS Passcode
  • Microsoft SCCM/Intune/Autopilot/Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
