Sanofi Active Ingredient Solutions (S.A.I.S) consists of more than 2 000 dedicated employees who are developing, manufacturing and supplying active pharmaceutical ingredients and technological solutions to external customers and partners in 80 countries.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

Sales
• Manage customer relationships by being primary contact for all requests and visit customers within CEE
• Manage and coordinate efficiently interfaces between Business Unit and Industrial sites through Demand Management organization or Supply chain organization of the Zone (CEE countries)
• Perform customer qualification in order to get full knowledge of their business/market, and to share it using dedicated tool
• Define products positioning in the Zone and customize product value propositions
• Implement commercial strategy and pricing policy defined by Business Unit Heads and the Zone Head
• Negotiate appropriate commercial conditions
• Set annual sales budget and a 3 to 5-year plan
• Monitor sales & margin performance, customer sales performance (Drug Products sales) and follow customers’ market in order to anticipate changes and implement appropriate actions

• Collect, understand and analyze market information (price, quality, QA & RA as well as Health care system evolution in the Zone) and communicate to management
• Contribute to the establishment of a full market data base to ensure accurate follow up of competition in terms of market shares, prices, quality, impurity profile, manufacturing process, regulatory aspects

Commercial Business development/prospection
• Collaborate with Marketing, to identify and target leads and schedule appointments employing cold calls and networking techniques
• Identify new opportunities for existing products, as well as for new products
• Coordinate customer projects from sampling to approval and commercialization

Requirements:

• Diploma into pharmacy or chemistry, biochemistry, Health or Business oriented education
• Min. 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• English fluency is mandatory
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer oriented and excellent customer service experience
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and work independently
• High achieving, ambitious, and results-oriented
• Travel up to 20% within Eastern EU Zone
