Region IT Operation Manager - Bank

IT Operation Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the Production team (Application Support & Operation) within the CE IT Production & Engineering department.

This role will cover managing all team relevant tasks and leading the team members in the CE IT Operation team. The role will include participation on operational (e.g. solution of Incidents) and project management tasks (e.g. Rollout and/or Upgrade of CE Regional Applications) as well.

Responsibilities:

· Setting up, mentoring, motivating and guiding a diverse and potentially geographically spread (5 countries in the CE Region) team of application analysts and other direct reports. This team will be supporting Business critical applications.

· Making sure that the team will be operational 24/7/365 – definition of application operation and support roles, setup of stand-by modes within the team, planning of work shifts (if necessary)

· Manage resources scheduling to ensure meeting SLAs and project deliveries

· Contribution to improvement of current IT service management processes and meeting defined SLAs and KPIs

· Co-operation on Incidents resolution, escalation and reporting

· Management of taking over relevant project deliverables and putting these deliverables into the production mode

· Participation on hiring process for new team members

· Contribution to the wider CE IT Regional Team management as required

· Identifies trends in team performance and recommends/ implements changes to constantly raise the performance level in the team

· Defining and managing team members yearly objectives and performance appraisals

· Performing other related duties as assigned by management

· Participation on relevant Project Steering Committees and execution of taken decisions

· Communication and collaboration with regional and global peers

· Communication and collaboration with local IT departments and other partner teams

· Building strong relationships with customers

· Co-operation on quality and completeness review of all formal project deliverables

· Ensure the stability of operational systems and respecting defined operational processes

· Deliver services according to agreed SLAs and within approved IT budgets

· Active participation on the E2E application monitoring setup

· Create and monitor reports and metrics for tracking purposes for on-going application monitoring

· Tracked record of building productive and successful IT application support teams

· Have good interpersonal and leadership skills

· Solid presentation, communication and negotiation skills

· The ability to work effectively with all levels of management; providing detailed guidance to team members

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in years of working experience in enterprise level IT environments

· At least 4 years of proven track record in leadership and people management

· Prior experience with leading of Application Support team (L2, L3)

· Experiences with building virtual teams/ competence centers within a region and organization of cross-bordered team co-operation

· Proven communication skills with multiple levels of an organization

· IT Operation background ideally from banking or insurance area

· Practical knowledge of a Ticketing system (e.g. JIRA, Remedy…)

· Practical usage of ITIL - Hands-on experiences with Incident handling, Release and Change management processes

· Advance knowledge of MS Office

· English at least on B2 level

· Knowledge of Czech or Slovak language will be an advantage
