General Manager

We have exciting opportunities for experienced General Manager to join our growing team based at our Krupka site close to Teplice on a full time permanent basis working with well-known product brands, and with new customers planned for the future. Key Tasks and Accountabilities of a General Manager:

  • Plan and develop in conjunction with the Operations Director the operational imperatives across the Czech site.
  • Drive, lead and deliver operational performance in accordance with agreed KPI’s
  • Ensure the seamless delivery against plan of these imperatives through leading, monitoring and measuring operational issues that will deliver a high performing and engaging workplace environment.
  • Introduce PTA (Process, Train & Audit) across the organisation.
  • Develop a six-sigma culture to complement the business operating values.
  • Enable employees to understand core business processes and procedures.
  • Introduce written operating procedures into all areas of the site.
  • Deliver profits in line or more than budget and forecast

To become a General Manager, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Up to date knowledge of the latest operational tools
  • Significant RETURNS, logistics and warehouse experience
  • Ability to prioritise improvement activities for greatest organisational impact
  • Experience of introducing procedural compliance
  • Experience of documenting procedures and managing the change required to ensure compliance to the newly document procedures
  • Experience in leading management teams in applying the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology.
  • Experience in defining improvement projects which satisfy our customer requirements.
  • Experience of measuring inputs and outputs to provide meaningful data.
  • Ability to analyse data to identify the root causes of variability operational failures.
