Director - US Study Abroad Program

Here at EUSA Academic Internship Experts we are looking to hire a new Director for our Prague centre. The Prague Director is accountable for the successful planning, progress, and completion of all EUSA academic internship programs in Prague, and for providing leadership to the EUSA Prague team. The Prague Director is also responsible for all aspects of program delivery and operations in Prague including logistical management, academics, housing, student welfare and pastoral care.


  • Leadership and direction for all aspects of EUSA Prague operations, including local operational infrastructure, IT, and budget
  • Student life and logistics management (including academics, housing, and pastoral care)
  • Oversight of Assistant Director to ensure successful management and delivery of the planning, development, and timely placement of students in quality, academically appropriate internships
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of internships and processes
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Czech regulations; monitoring of regulatory environment
  • Accurate program budgeting
  • Collaboration with University Relations team in program planning, development, and partner relationship management
  • Emergency response and student health and safety
  • Staffing
  • Timely internal/external reporting


  • Planning and delivery of student services and programming
  • Relationships and agreements with third party providers, including student housing
  • Management of the Prague team
  • Production and review of evaluations, status reports and academic reports
  • Other reasonable duties as required

Profile and Requirements:

  • Able to work legally in the Czech Republic
  • Excellent Czech and English language skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, able to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Demonstrated ability to work under time pressure
  • Networking skills, knowledge of Prague business and working culture
  • Understanding of the US higher education system and experience in study abroad is desirable
  • Bachelors degree required, graduate degree is desirable
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Mac OS
