Senior Business Commercial Controller with Italian

Main goal of the position:

The Senior Business Commercial Controller is mainly responsible for financial planning, reporting, and ongoing performance analysis. This person will be responsible for developing accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports for facilitating management decisions.

The position will take part in designing, creating and maintaining templates for regular reports and for ad-hoc requirements as well as financial and analytical support to General Managers. This role will be interesting for you if you enjoy being in direct contact with the business and partnering with senior management.

This is what you will mainly be doing in this role:

Budgeting process

  • Manage the annual budgeting process for defined jurisdiction
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the assigned departments and commercial organization performance to facilitate decision making
  • Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates
  • Strategic planning
  • Close cooperation with GMs during the budget preparation

Actuals and regular reporting of results

  • Perform monthly Income Statement/Balance Sheet analysis actuals vs. budget.
  • Prepare and develop monthly, as well as ad hoc, financial and business-related analyses
  • Investigate and report to the Manager any inconsistencies or improprieties,
  • Coordinate with accounting in processing actuals versus budget.
  • Business review preparation
  • Close cooperation with GMs, ensuring that results are well understood, including all deviations from plan

FP&A Reporting efficiency / Ad hoc projects

  • Continuously improve FP&A reports, recurring and ad-hoc, dashboards, and analytics. Conduct regular updates with the business stakeholders to understand evolving internal needs.
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance Projects as assigned.
  • Mine, analyze, synthesize, and interpret data from multiple data sources to build a comprehensive picture of trends that are considered when developing future strategies.


This position will be a good fit if you:

  • Have at least 4-6 years of Business Controlling experience, including business partnering.
  • Are comfortable working with senior leaders internationally.
  • Are experienced with HFM/Hyperion Planning or similar reporting system.
  • Have an advanced knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel) and strong knowledge/understanding of accounting principles.
  • Are able to work under pressure and maintain high quality of output.
  • Are able to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Want and are able to use English (our company language) and Italian on a daily basis.
  • Are legally allowed to work in the Czech Republic.
