Job Summary:

Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing all hotel revenues through the development and implementation of effective inventory management and pricing strategies. Leads cross functional decision making of all revenue generating departments including Sales & Marketing, Rooms, Catering and Food & Beverage. This position also creates forecasts and conducts on-going competitor price/product analysis to ensure competitive rate positioning and product offerings on the local market.

This full-time position is available from October 2019 onwards.

Main responsibilities:

- maximizes RevPAR by analyzing market trends and future demand to set sales strategies in order to grow RevPAR and market share

- analyzes and identifies local competitors to implement revenue maximization strategies, optimize distribution channels for maximum benefit of penetration

- prepares revenue management reports and participates in weekly revenue strategy meetings with GM and other key leaders

- champions all special projects related to market research and operational optimization (resource planning, costing, Key Performance Indicators etc.)

- updates and changes restrictions, allotments and rates on a daily basis

- monitors all distribution channels to ensure that they contain accurate information

- cooperates with DOSM to create eNewsletters, hotel packages and related marketing materials

- assists to maintain hotel website content


- minimum 2-year experience in revenue leader position

- excellent communication and presentation skills

- experience to prepare strategies and budget

- analyticial skills and experience with reporting

- well organized and detail oriented, revenue driven personality

- high level of engagement and self-motivation

- ability to exceed goals even under pressure

- good knowledge of local market is preferred

- knowledge of systems - MS Office (Excel) & database management, Delphi, Opera, Revenue and Price optimisation tools

- time flexibility & high commitment is a must

- proficient knowledge of English and Czech – written and spoken
