Technical Product Owner - Marketing & Sales

In readiness to operate independently from our current parent company, SUSE is now standing up our own IT function to support and enable the rapid growth of the organization. As part of this new team, we are looking for a Technical Product Owner - Marketing & Sales and Customer Support.
Your future responsibilities:
You are the trusted technology partner of the business stakeholders in the Marketing and Sales domain, you assist them in making smart decisions, help keep the focus on essential functionality
You lead a multi-disciplinary team working in a smart agile delivery setup. You don't just follow Scrum ceremonies, you really pay attention that progress is being made, that people are communicating properly.
Manage relationship with vendors that are associated with the Marketing & Sales and Customer Support domain
You own and operate the IT systems for Marketing & Sales and Customer Support, you collaborate with other teams for effective solution delivery
In collaboration with the vendors, establish project plans for IT initiatives such as roll-out of new modules, provide project mobilisation by confirming project scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities, and providing project governance
Support implementation of major M&S and CS initiatives by preparing the system through requirements documentation, data gathering and system testing
Implement effective review, reporting and presentation structures, conduct project evaluations
Ensure that implemented solutions meet requirements outlined in the guideline documentations
Ensuring day-to-day operation of the organization’s Marketing & Sales and Customer Support domain
What kind of skills you need to have?
Proven knowledge of Marketing & Sales and Customer Support applications and IT landscapes
Practical experience with agile software delivery team in a technical leadership capacity
Practical international experience in the Software/Software Consulting sector, exposure to Marketing, Sales and customer support tools
Previous experience with SQL database management and programming
Proven track record of managing teams and complex projects to quality, time and budget
3+ years of programme-execution and project-management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable course of studies
Fluent in English, written and verbal – ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
· Experience of working in the sales or Go-To-Market organization, ideally in a high-tech industry, preferably software is an advantage.
Excellent team leadership skills – you communicate, collaborate and follow through.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different cultures
Well-organized with the ability to multi-task across multiple deliverables
Self-driven and detail oriented with high standards of accuracy and precision
Ability to identify, research, coordinate and resolve issues
Flexibility to work hours needed to meet monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines
Ability to learn new systems quickly and work with large amounts of complex data
Proven ability to operate in extremely high-pressure situations and successfully handling multiple priorities with a high level of discipline while remaining flexible
Ability to work on own initiative, with a high degree of autonomy
Self-motivated and self-monitoring, continuously evaluating own work processes
