Global Arena Research Institute (an organization focusing on the nexus between technology/society/economy/politics/security/environment with the utilization of the highly developed computing technologies) is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and confident candidates that will contribute to shaping and executing GARI’s strategy for outreach and development; as well as research, reach out to and manage major partners and sponsors for the Next 100 Symposium, the ReDefine Next 100 global youth program and other activities and projects of the Global Arena Research Institute, including its primary focus of high level research and analyses for clients and partners.

Basic Information:

Part-time: a minimum of 20 hours a week

Nature of the Work

The Strategy and Outreach Manager will report directly to the President and Executive Director of GARI and be responsible for the following activities:


Creating and implementing a long-term strategy for attracting and maintaining donors relevant to GARI’s work, with the aim of securing short and long-term financial support for GARI through various funding streams;
Promoting GARI through outreach activities, including but not limited to representing GARI formally at events with the aim of promoting GARI’s product and facilitating fresh connections in the private and governmental sectors;
Providing an internal strategic assessment of GARI’s activities on an ongoing basis, routinely reporting to the President of the Board and consulting with the President/Executive Director on GARI’s longer-term objectives and procedures;
Engaging proactively with external contacts in Brussels, London and the V4 to screen potential candidates for the International Advisory Board;

Motivating and organising skilled employees and trainees with skills relevant to the fundraising/outreach initiatives to ensure their full potential is reached;

Excellent English - written and spoken

Outreach to important and appropriate partners, speakers and potential sponsors
Experience in working in research, think tanks, governmental sector, academic or other professional environment
previous communication experience - high-level professional emails, voice communication and in-person meetings
experience in drafting proposals and professional emails
